Hidden From History: Five Short Films Screening and Panel Discussion
Thursday, October 23, 2024. Doors open at 6:00. Program starts at 6:30.
Aspecial screening of five short films from the team behind the acclaimed documentary Citizens at Last. The films delve into the importance of five women—Elizabet Ney, Eliza Peterson, Jovita Idar, Jessie Dent, and Lulu B. White—whose contributions have been largely “hidden” from history.
The program will feature a discussion with producers Nancy Schiesari, Ellen Temple, and Jessica Brannon-Wranosky.

Sid Richardson Hall is located at 2300 Red River Street on The University of Texas at Austin campus. The Briscoe Center is in the middle of the three units. Self-parking is available in the Manor Garage.

An event put on by Texas A&M University-Commerce, featuring a short concert by Curtis and Loretta followed by an in-person viewing of Citizens At Last. The event takes place October 17th, 2023 from 7-9 pm. More info can be found here.
